When IJD saw our 11.11.11 flashmob, they asked us to think of a concept to promote the Word Youth Day 2011 in Madrid.
We gladly took this challenge and raised the bar for ourselves. With 500 people we decided to take the city of Leuven for 1 day. Starting from 4 locations, 4 groups of people forming a “snake” ran through the city and joined at the “Grote Markt” for an exciting surprise performance.
Thanks to everybody’s efforts it became a big succes and IJD got a lot of press coverage. And now it is spreading on the internet and social networks and we hope to gain international attention again.
